The Magic of Our Farm
We believe healthy ingredients start in healthy soil. At the Gaia Herbs Farm, we see ourselves as stewards of the land, supporting the earth in doing what she does best – growing potent plants for quality herbal supplements. Our fields sparkle with mineral-rich soil, sustained by regenerative farming methods.
The herbs are tested for potency in-field before being harvested with care and brought to our onsite production facility where they are extracted and made into one of our herbal formulas. From seed to soil to supplement, we proudly oversee each step of our production to craft the finest herbal supplements on earth.
Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC)™
In 2022, Gaia Herbs Farm proudly earned the Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC)™ silver-level designation from the Regenerative Organic Alliance™. This achievement reflects our commitment to regenerative agriculture, which plays a vital role in preserving biodiversity, safeguarding the planet's health, and enhancing human well-being.
Our journey toward this milestone began in 2021 when we set out to surpass traditional organic standards on the Gaia Herbs Farm. We aimed to meet the rigorous ROC™ certification, which focuses not only on soil health but also on farmworker fairness.
And we’re just getting started. We have our sights set on going for gold-level certification, demonstrating our commitment to regenerative organic agriculture, and its impact on the wellness of our planet and people.
"With regenerative organic agriculture, we can rehabilitate soil, respect animal welfare, and improve the lives of farmers. We can sequester carbon, build healthier communities, and reap more nutritious and abundant yields."

We Source Where Ingredients Grow Best
We believe in sourcing the herbs from where they grow best to ensure they are potent and true to the nature of the ingredient. What we don’t grow at the Gaia Herbs Farm, we source from farmers and wildcrafters around the world who maintain our same rigorous standards.
Committed to our Farm Crew
Each year, through the H2A visa program, we employ approximately 30 farmworkers who make the journey from San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to spend the growing and harvesting season on our Farm. Most of our Farm Crew returns every year, including a few who have been with us for more than 20 years.
In 2021, we enhanced our commitment to farm worker fairness by focusing on four key impact areas: travel and lodging to and from Mexico, wages and benefits, health and wellness advocacy, and on-site housing.
In 2024, we furthered our commitment to our Farm Crew by opening on-site Farm Crew Housing. This initiative guarantees our Farm Crew safe, comfortable housing while they are at the Gaia Herbs Farm. It provides a space for them to rest, participate in recreation, and connect with each other as a community. Our Farm Crew Housing is one example of how we continuously work to support our mission of serving as a model farm in migrant farmworker treatment.
More Than Herbal Supplements
The Gaia Herbs Farm grows more than the herbs found in our herbal supplements. Our Farm also boasts an acre of organic farmland where we grow organic fruits and vegetables that sustain our Employee Vegetable Program. During the growing season, thousands of pounds of organic produce is grown for our employees to take home and enjoy. What isn’t brought home by employees is donated to food banks and shelters in the local communities.
Our Farm also has a dedicated pollinator garden, bursting with native plants to help sustain the pollinator population that helps keep our Farm growing. Our pollinators support the biodiverse ecosystem at our Farm. The honey produced by our pollinators is shared with employees throughout the year.
